OpenShot video editor fails to load with no error message.
This can happen if files in $home/<user>/.openshot become corrupt.
Solution:
- Open a terminal and cd to .openshot
- Rename the following files
- sequence.mlt
- pid.lock
- Look for other recently created files and rename those
OpenShot should now open correctly and the files will be recreated. If this solves the problem, the renamed files can safely be deleted.
